What happens after booking
Square sends these on its own once it's set up. The wording here is an example; Square's real wording may differ.
Book an appointment to see the client's texts.
Booking confirmation right away, then a reminder before the visit (Pavon picks when: 1 hour to 3 days before).

Square alerts the owner and the stylist on the booking by email and in the Square app. A text alert is a staff setting we'd confirm during setup.
The reminder follows the format Square uses: the appointment details plus a Confirm link and a Modify link. With Square Assistant turned on, clients can also text back to confirm, cancel, or reschedule, and the calendar updates by itself.
Need from Pavon before this goes live (preview notes)
- Prices: taken from Pavon's own price flyer (flyer.jpg on pavonhairsalon.com, in Spanish, currently hidden on the site). Items marked confirm look off in the flyer (long hair cheaper than medium, a row with no prices, rows that repeat the hair-length columns). Need the current price list.
- Women's and color tables: flyer rows "Cabello mediano / Cabello largo" (women) and "Cabello corto / Cabello mediano" (color) are unclear, so they're left out here.
- How long each service takes: nothing published. Square needs a length for every service to show open times.
- Beard trim, hot towel shave: named on the website, no price anywhere. Shown as "Price on request." Facials and makeup are mentioned once on the site; are they offered?
- Stylists: no names published. "Stylist 1/2" are placeholders. Who takes bookings, which services each does, and which days each works.
- Hours: using his Google listing's Mon–Sat 9 am–7 pm, Sun 9 am–2 pm. His website says Mon–Sat 9 am–8 pm, Sun 9 am–4 pm; which is right? Open times shown here are made up.
- Phone for new-booking alerts: the website lists (910) 232-3918, (910) 602-8024, and (201) 598-8428; the flyer lists (704) 807-4068 and (910) 508-8386. Which one gets alerts?
- Cancellation policy and no-show fee, if any, and whether to hold a card at booking.
